libev-perl software package provides Perl interface to libev, the high performance event loop, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libev-perl
libev-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libev-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libev-perl *
You will get with libev-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
